I understand the cost of doing business and was not bothered when they recently started a service charge for paying with a card. Here is the problem, it is illegal to charge a service fee for paying with a "debit card". I would suggest that the new policy ensures that those who pay with a debit card are NOT charged a service fee. ”

“ Captain Tom's is always a family favorite. We drive here from Glen Allen and it's worth it. Even my grandmother, who was very picky, loved the food here. After visiting a distillery, my parents and I ended up here after another place in the area had a two hour wait. We only had two wait about 10 minutes and was seated in a booth in a bustling area of the restaurant. The service was quick and professional, the food is fresh, hot and well prepared. The prices are great and the portions are really good. Only thing I'd like to see is the addition of real butter. The peculiar tasting spread is not for me. ”
